Variogon 45-100 mm Casing

The Schneider Variogon FF 45-100 mm T3 is a very special lens.
It was designed for full-frame format (FF: 36×24 mm), and only 50 units of this lens were ever produced.
Originally, it featured a swap mount compatible with all common lens mounts, including ARRI Standard, which makes it relatively easy to convert to PL or EF mount.
While the zoom elements move inside the lens body, the front focus element rotates and extends outward.
The casing design compensates for this movement, allowing the use of a matte box or wide-angle adapter without issues.
The sides of the lens feature slots for focus and zoom mechanisms, enabling both manual operation and motorized control.
