Rigid Camera Mounting
The camera is mounted to the cage using one 1/4″-20 UNC screw and an additional stud bolt (3D printed) that fits into the locating hole next to the tripod thread on the camera body.
Tripod/Baseplate
There are one 3/8 UNC and one 1/4 UNC threads for tripod mounting under the removable dovetail plate.
Removable Arca-Swiss Plate
Essential for optimal balancing on The Spinner, especially when used in combination with the DJI RS4 dovetail plate.
15mm Rod Support
Integrated 15mm clamp for seamless focus motor attachment.
Cable Clamp
The cable clamp is detachable and vertically adjustable. SmallRig’s HDMI adapter fits, as do most other cables. If needed, cables can be additionally secured using a small M2 locking screw.
Articulating Screen
The screen can be flipped out and rotated by almost 90°.
Kippertie Revolva LC Ready
The best lens-mount adapter currently available. We developed a custom adapter bracket (optional) that fits the Niko Cage perfectly.
Niko Cage + Optional Niko sidegrip
The Niko Cage can be upgraded with Niko sidegrip to get a full cage. You can attach the Niko dovetail plate to the sidegrip to frame vertically, as well as a simple bolt on handle.
